Army PFT Overview

Whether you're thinking about joining or you've been a soldier for years, staying in fighting condition is vital to your success. In fact it is so important that the Army has a physical fitness program designed to ensure every soldier is combat ready at all times.
The Army's Physical Fitness program features a Physical Fitness Test and the Army Weight Control Program. The program helps make sure that you look as good as you feel. In addition the Army has advanced fitness requirements for the Rangers, Army Airborne, and Special Forces (Green Beret).
