Veterans Day Discounts 2013

Every year, my Veterans Day discount post is super-popular.  I hope that many of you will find it useful again this year.  Not all venues have announced their plans for 2013, so I will be updating it as new information becomes available.  There are also many offers that I can not verify, so I've put them at the end in their own section.  If you can provide a link to these offers, please let me know and I'll update as I can manage.  Please share with your friends!

As always, please remember these guidelines:

  • Please be sure to contact individual locations to verify hours and restrictions.
  • If you are using a restaurant deal, please be sure to tip on the total amount of the bill before the discount.  Let's show our country's servers that military vets do the right thing.
  • This is a nice thing that companies do for the military and I hate to see it being turned into something negative due to miscommunication or disagreements about documentation.  Each business gets to make their own rules about what they consider acceptable identification in order to qualify for the promotion.
