Stern Calls Leno 'Insane,' 'a Crook'

Radio personality Howard Stern says late-night talk-show host Jay Leno is "insane" and "a crook" who steals other comedians' material.
The New York Post said Stern made the comments in an interview to air on Tuesday's edition of CNN's new chat program "Piers Morgan Tonight."
"Jay is insane. And Jay is a crook. And the world knows exactly what he's up to. He steals a tremendous amount of material," the Post quoted Stern as saying. "He's not fit to scrub David Letterman's feet. I don't know how he's beaten David Letterman in the ratings. It's beyond my comprehension. America must be filled with morons who at night lay in bed -- the ones who are watching him -- they must be in a coma."
Leno is the host of NBC's "The Tonight Show."
