A member of a film crew was recovering Sunday after what witnesses said was a bruising head-butt from an irate pedestrian at a Manhattan movie location.
Steve Lafferty was treated and released at St. Luke's Hospital after his encounter with a pedestrian who wanted to cross Broadway while the crew was shooting a scene for the new Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie "Premium Rush."
Witnesses told the New York Post that Upper West Side resident Breffny Flynn became irate Saturday when Lafferty, a production assistant, told him he had to wait a few minutes before continuing on his way and allegedly cracked Lafferty in the face.
"There was a big gush of blood," crew member Michael Singleton said. "It looked like his nose was broken, and his eyes were puffy."
Flynn, 43, was arrested and issued a desk-appearance citation for assault, the Post said Sunday.
