B. AR 351-3, PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAMS OF THE ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (8 FEB 88) (BEING REVISED)

1. THE LTHET BOARD IS SCHEDULED TO CONVENE O/A JUN 2006 TO SELECT ACTIVE DUTY MS OFFICERS TO ENTER TRAINING IN AY2007, FOR THE DEGREE PROGRAMS LISTED IN PARAGRAPH 10.  THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS 1 MAY 2006. RESULTS WILL BE RELEASED 60-90 DAYS LATER.

2. APPLICATION PACKET CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING (SEE ITEM 17 OF THIS MESSAGE FOR THE BASIC PACKET CHECKLIST BEFORE SUBMISSION):  
   
A.        DA FORM 3838 APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING (NOV 82). SUBMIT A DA FORM 3838 WITH THE FOLLOWING ITEMS COMPLETED: 1 THRU 13, 15-16, 18, 23 (APPLICANT’S SIGNATURE), 24-27 COMMANDER’S APPROVAL, DO NOT USE REVERSE SIDE.  PLACE YOUR COMPLETE E-MAIL ADDRESS (TYPED) AND FACSIMILE (FAX) NUMBER IN BLOCK 24. DEGREE PROGRAM(S) YOU ARE APPLYING FOR MUST BE ENTERED IN BLOCK 13 EXACTLY AS THEY ARE SPECIFIED IN PARAGRAPH 10. THE 3838 MUST NOT INCLUDE ANY ENDORSEMENT, RECOMMENDATION OR COMMENDABLE COMMENTS.  

B.        COMMANDER’S HEIGHT/WEIGHT/BODY FAT STANDARDS/APFT MEMORANDUM. A MEMORANDUM SIGNED BY YOUR COMPANY COMMANDER (NO EXCEPTIONS) MUST BE SUBMITTED ON LETTERHEAD OR WHITE BOND PAPER VERIFYING YOUR CURRENT HEIGHT/WEIGHT (BODY FAT IF REQUIRED) AND APFT SCORE.  YOUR APFT CARD WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ONLY USE THE EXAMPLE FORMAT PROVIDED IN ITEM 18.

    C. TRANSCRIPTS. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE SUBMITTED FOR THE
APPLICANT'S UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE AND ANY GRADUATE DEGREE PROGRAM COMPLETED (TRANSCRIPTS ALREADY ON FILE MAY BE PRINTED FROM iPERMS).  THE FINAL GPA MUST BE HIGHLIGHTED.  IF THE FINAL GPA IS NOT INDICATED, THE APPLICANT IS REQUIRED TO WRITE IT ON THE TRANSCRIPT. THE GPA MUST BE CALCULATED ON A 4.0 POINT SYSTEM.  GRADE SLIPS MAY BE SUBMITTED FOR PROGRAMS IN PROGRESS.

    E. STANDARDIZED TEST. APPLICANTS FOR GRADUATE EDUCATION PROGRAMS MUST SUBMIT A GRE, GMAT OR MILLER ANALOGIES TEST SCORE REGARDLESS OF UNIVERSITY REQUIREMENTS(NO MORE THAN FIVE YEARS OLD). THE GMAT IS REQUIRED BY SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY FOR THE COMPTROLLERSHIP PROGRAM.  MINIMUM SCORE FOR BOARD CONSIDERATION IS 850 FOR GRE (TOTAL OF VERBAL AND QUANTITATIVE SCORES ONLY), 425 FOR GMAT, AND 42 FOR MILLER ANALOGIES. THE MINIMUM SCORE NOW ACCEPTABLE BY MANY INSTITUTIONS FOR ACCEPTANCE TO MASTERS PROGRAMS IS 1000 FOR GRE AND 500 FOR GMAT.  BASED ON PAST STUDENTS’ EXPERIENCE, IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT APPLICANTS FOR 72A, 72B, 72C, 72D, AND 72E PROGRAMS, HAVE A MINIMUM GRE SCORE OF 1000 FOR A MASTER’S PROGRAM AND 1200 FOR A PHD PROGRAM.

    F.  CONSULTANT/S RECOMMENDATION. APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A MEMORANDUM OR E-MAIL TO THEIR AOC CONSULTANT IDENTIFYING THE PROGRAM (S), DISCIPLINE, DEGREE BEING PURSUED, AND LENGTH OF PROGRAM FOR WHICH THEY PLAN TO APPLY. THIS INFORMATION, ALONG WITH THE AOC CONSULTANT’S CONCURRENCE MUST BE FORWARDED WITH THE APPLICATION. ONLY USE THE EXAMPLE FORMAT PROVIDED IN ITEM 19.  COPIES OF E-MAIL MESSAGES AND CONSULTANT REPLIES ARE ACCEPTABLE.  NOTE: IF PROGRAM WILL REQUIRE A CHANGE OF AOC, BOTH THE LOSING AND GAINING CONSULTANTS CONCURRENCE IS REQUIRED.     G.  DA FORM 4187.  OFFICERS APPLYING FOR A TRAINING PROGRAM THAT WILL RESULT IN A CHANGE IN THEIR AOC MUST INCLUDE WITH THEIR TRAINING APPLICATION A DA FORM 4187 (PERSONNEL ACTION) REQUESTING THE CHANGE OF AOC.  BOTH GAINING AND LOSING CONSULTANTS AS WELL AS THE HRC CAREER MANAGER, MUST ALL BE IN AGREEMENT WITH APPLICANT’S POTENTIAL CHANGE IN AOC.
 
    H.  ARMY BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM IN HEALTH AND BUSINESS   ADMINISTRATION ACCEPTANCE LETTERS.  THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM NOW PROVIDES OFFICERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EARN A MASTER OF HEALTH ADMINISTRATION (MHA)OR A JOINT MASTER OF HEALTH ADMINISTRATION/MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MHA/MBA).  APPLICANTS FOR BOTH PROGRAMS MUST CONTACT MS. PRYOR AT THE AMEDD CENTER AND SCHOOL, DSN: 471-6443 OR COML: (210) 221-6443, TO OBTAIN AN ASSESSMENT OF THEIR GRE/GMAT SCORE AND TRANSCRIPTS. APPLICANTS MUST BE ACCEPTED BY THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM PRIOR TO BEGINNING THE PROGRAM. SINCE MS. JOINT MHA/MBA APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE THE GMAT.  THE MINIMUM SCORE FOR THESE OFFICERS IS 575.  THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM DOES NOT ACCEPT THE MILLER ANALOGIES.  WAIVERS FOR BOTH THE MHA AND THE JOINT MHA/MBA WILL BE CONSIDERED ON A CASE-BY-CASE BASIS.  
     
   I.  NOTATION OF AOC CHANGE.  APPLICANTS FOR THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM MUST NOTE ON THEIR DA FORM 3838, BLOCK 13, WHETHER THEY WANT TO BECOME A 70A OR REMAIN IN THEIR CURRENT AOC.  THE MAJORITY OF THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM STARTS ARE FOR TRAINING 70Bs TO BECOME 70As. HOWEVER, THERE WILL BE SOME STARTS FOR OFFICERS REMAINING IN THEIR CURRENT AOC BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS. THOSE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN THE ARMY-BAYLOR/USAMMA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM MUST ANNOTATE THE PARTICULAR PROGRAM IN BOX #24 OF THE DA FORM 3838.

   K.  Ph.D. IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY.  THIS PROGRAM IS ONLY OFFERED AT THE UNIFORMED SERVICES UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (USUHS). APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF THE LETTER FROM USUHS ADVISING THEM THAT THEY MEET THE CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE.                  

   L.  NUMBER OF PROGRAMS. OFFICERS MAY APPLY FOR NO MORE THAN THREE PROGRAMS COVERED UNDER THE LTHET DEGREE AND NON-DEGREE PROGRAMS COMBINED.  OFFICERS MUST INDICATE IN BLOCK 13, DA FORM 3838, UP TO THREE PROGRAMS THEY DESIRE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR. OFFICERS MAY INDICATE IN BLOCK 24, DA FORM 3838, THEIR DESIRE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR A THIRD PROGRAM, IF NOT SELECTED FOR EITHER OF THEIR CHOICES IN BLOCK 13. IF NOT SELECTED FOR ANY OF THEIR THREE CHOICES, SELECTION WILL BE BASED ON THE NEEDS OF THE MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS.

   M.  BUDGET. BUDGETARY CONSTRAINTS MAY RESULT IN SOME OF THE ANNOUNCED PROGRAMS BEING DELAYED OR CUT FOR THIS ACADEMIC YEAR.

   N.  APPLICATION DEADLINE.  APPLICATIONS MUST BE POSTMARKED OR RECEIVED AT HRC BY 1 MAY 2006.

   O.  PROGRAM COMPLETION STANDARDS. MASTERS DEGREE: 24 MONTHS TO INCLUDE THESIS/PROJECT, PhD: 36 MONTHS TO INCLUDE FINAL DISSERTATION. SOME ALLIED SCIENCE PHD PROGRAMS WILL BE GRANTED 48 MONTHS TO COMPLETE.  

3.  SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS:          

A.        DO NOT PLACE THE APPLICATION IN A BINDER OR FOLDER.

All APPLICANTS STATIONED OCONUS SHOULD PROVIDE COMMERCIAL PHONE AND FAX NUMBERS IN BLOCK 24. THE DEADLINE DATE INDICATES RECEIPT OF THE COMPLETED APPLICATION AT HRC.
   
4.  ELIGIBILITY.

A.        APPLICATIONS FROM OFFICERS WHO DO NOT MEET THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA WILL BE RETURNED WITHOUT ACTION. ONLY THOSE ITEMS NOT MARKED NO WAIVER AVAILABLE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR A WAIVER. WAIVERS MAY BE REQUESTED BY MEMORANDUM OR E-MAIL.  REQUESTED WAIVERS MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION AND ADDRESSED TO CHIEF, MSC BRANCH FOR COORDINATION/APPROVAL.

B.        APPLICANTS MUST HAVE CAREER STATUS. (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE)

    C. APPLICANTS MUST BE GRADUATES OF THE CAPTAINS CAREER COURSE(CCC) OR COMPLETE THE CCC PRIOR TO STARTING TRAINING.      

   D. THE NORMAL TIME IN SERVICE (TIS) FOR COMMISSIONED OFFICERS
ON ENTRY INTO CIVILIAN SCHOOLING IS 5 THROUGH 13 YEARS FOR LONG TERM TRAINING. OFFICERS WHO DO NOT MEET THIS TIS CRITERION MUST REQUEST A WAIVER WITH THEIR APPLICATION. NOTE: OFFICERS WHO WOULD HAVE 17 OR MORE YEARS ACTIVE FEDERAL SERVICE (AFS) AS OF THE START DATE OF THEIR REQUESTED PROGRAM ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY. (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE)

    E. APPLICANTS IN CONUS MUST HAVE TWO YEARS TIME ON STATION
(TOS) AS OF THE START DATE OF THEIR REQUESTED PROGRAM. TOS IS COMPUTED FROM THE MONTH OF ARRIVAL TO THE EXPECTED MONTH OF DEPARTURE.  OCONUS APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE THEIR CURRENT TOUR, TO INCLUDE ANY EXTENSION.  OCONUS TOURS WILL NOT BE CURTAILED TO ALLOW PARTICIPATION IN LTHET.  OFFICERS WHO ARE IDENTIFIED BY THEIR MACOM AS EXCESS, DUE TO RIGHT-SIZING INITIATIVES, MAY SUBMIT AN APPLICATION PRIOR TO MEETING THE TOS REQUIREMENT INDICATED ABOVE IF VERIFIED BY AN ENDORSEMENT FROM THEIR COMMAND.  OFFICERS WHO WILL NOT REQUIRE A PCS MOVE TO ENTER TRAINING [NOTE THIS IN BLOCK 24 OF DA FORM 3838] MAY SUBMIT AN APPLICATION PRIOR TO MEETING THE TOS REQUIREMENT. OFFICER WILL SUBMIT A WAIVER STATING THAT THEY WILL NOT REQUIRE A PCS MOVE.

    F. APPLICATIONS WITH GRE SCORES BELOW 850 (TOTAL OF VERBAL AND QUANTITATIVE SCORES ONLY), GMAT SCORES BELOW 425, OR MILLER ANALOGIES BELOW 42 WILL BE RETURNED WITHOUT ACTION. (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE)

    G. APPLICANTS MUST BE IN THE GRADE OF LIEUTENANT (PROMOTABLE), CAPTAIN OR MAJOR.  PROMOTABLE MAJORS MUST INCLUDE A REQUEST FOR A WAIVER WITH THEIR APPLICATION.
 
    H. APPLICANTS MUST CONTACT THEIR HRC CAREER MANAGER AT MS BRANCH AND DISCUSS THE TIMING FOR ATTENDING LTHET AND THEIR OVERALL CAREER PLANS.

    I. ALL OFFICERS MUST COMPLETE A UTILIZATION TOUR FOLLOWING
GRADUATION FROM ANY LTHET PROGRAM.  THIS UTILIZATION TOUR MUST BE COMPLETED PRIOR TO STARTING ANY OTHER LONG TERM TRAINING PROGRAM, CIVILIAN OR MILITARY.  REFER TO TABLE C FOR TYPES OF UTILIZATION TOURS. UTILIZATION ASSIGNMENTS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON AMEDD NEEDS AT TIME OF COMPLETION OF TRAINING.

      J. ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE OBLIGATION (ADSO).  OFFICERS WILL INCUR
AN ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE OBLIGATION IAW DODI 6000.13 AND 351-3 FOR ALL LONG TERM TRAINING.  OFFICERS STARTING A LTHET PROGRAM IN AY 2007, FULLY OR PARTIALLY FUNDED, WILL GENERALLY INCUR AN ADSO AT A MINIMUM OF 36 MONTHS FOR A BACHELORS DEGREE, 48 MONTHS FOR A MASTERS DEGREE AND 60 -72 MONTHS FOR A PhD DEGREE.  ADSO COMMENCES UPON COMPLETION OR TERMINATION OF TRAINING.  APPLICANTS MUST COMPLETE SERVING ANY ADSO FROM PREVIOUS LONG-TERM TRAINING (E.G. LTCT, FLIGHT SCHOOL, ETC) PRIOR TO STARTING A NEW TRAINING OPPORTUNITY (WAIVER AVAILABLE ONLY IF ADSO IS UNDER 12 MONTHS). ALL 67J'S MUST HAVE COMPLETED THEIR FIRST GATE.  ADDITIONALLY, 67J'S MUST HAVE COMPLETED A MINIMUM OF 6 YEARS IN A 67J CODED POSITION.

      K. NON-SELECT STATUS. OFFICERS IN A NONSELECT PROMOTION STATUS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO APPLY OR ATTEND TRAINING.  OFFICERS SELECTED FOR TRAINING WHO BECOME NON-SELECT FOR PROMOTION PRIOR TO THE TRAINING START DATE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO START TRAINING (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE).
 
  L. OFFICERS WHO BECOME NONSELECT FOR PROMOTION WHILE IN
TRAINING WILL BE REMOVED FROM THEIR TRAINING PROGRAM UNLESS APPROVAL TO COMPLETE TRAINING IS GRANTED BY THE MS CORPS CHIEF.  NONSELECT OFFICERS MAY BE ALLOWED TO CONTINUE IN THEIR PROGRAM AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CHIEF, MEDICAL SERVICE CORPS.  NONSELECT OFFICERS REMAINING IN THEIR EDUCATION PROGRAM MAY BE CHANGED TO A PARTIALLY FUNDED STATUS (TUITION AND FEES WILL NO LONGER BE PAID FOR BY THE GOVERNMENT).

  M. APFT/HT/WT STANDARDS. ALL APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE APFT AND
HT/WT STANDARDS. EACH APPLICANT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HAVING A STATEMENT PREPARED AND SIGNED BY THEIR COMPANY COMMANDER VERIFYING THEIR HEIGHT AND WEIGHT (BODY FAT STANDARDS IF APPLICABLE) AND APFT SCORE.  THE STATEMENT CAN BE ON PLAIN BOND PAPER OR ON LETTERHEAD. THE EXAMPLE FORMAT IN ITEM 18. IS THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE FORMAT. (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE).

N. OFFICERS WHO HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN FULLY OR PARTIALLY FUNDED
FOR LTHET MAY NOT APPLY FOR NEW PROGRAMS AT THE SAME CIVILIAN EDUCATION LEVEL (CEL) AS PREVIOUSLY TRAINED. (NO WAIVER AVAILABLE).
           
5. OFFICERS MAY ONLY APPLY FOR Ph.D. LEVEL TRAINING WITHIN THEIR AOC. THE EXCEPTIONS ARE: THE PH.D. STARTS IN MICRO/PARA/IMMUNOLOGY WHICH ARE OPEN TO 71A/71B/AND 71E’S AND ANY OVERSTRENGTH YEAR GROUP OR AOC; AND PH.D. STARTS IN CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY ARE OPEN TO ANY AOC.

6. CHANGE IN AOC. OFFICERS APPLYING FOR PROGRAMS WHICH COULD CHANGE THEIR AOC MUST CONTACT BOTH THEIR LOSING AND GAINING CONSULTANT, CAREER MANAGER AND THE MSC EDUCATION & TRAINING SECTION TO INQUIRE ABOUT UNDER/OVERSTRENGTH AOC PROMOTION YEAR GROUPS. OFFICERS IN AN UNDERSTRENGTH/BALANCED AOC OR THOSE THAT WOULD BE PLACED IN AN OVERSTRENGTH YEAR GROUP ARE ENCOURAGED NOT TO APPLY.

7. LONG-TERM CIVILIAN TRAINING (LTCT): THE INSTITUTION MUST BE REGIONALLY OR NATIONALLY ACCREDITED, AND MEET TUITION GUIDELINES  OF $15,000/YEAR.  ANY INSTITUTION WHICH REQUIRES A TUITION FEE OVER $15,000 MUST BE APPROVED BY THE MS CORPS CHIEF. OFFICERS ARE REQUIRED TO REQUEST APPROVAL,IN WRITING, FOR THE INCREASE IN TUITION,THROUGH THE ED & TRNG SECTION, HRC TO THE MS CORPS CHIEF. AN EXPLANATION AND JUSTIFICATION TO PAY THE INCREASE SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE MEMORANDUM. CALL THE ED & TRNG SECTION FOR COMPLETE DETAILS. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFIED MUST BE APPROVED BY THE APPROPRIATE CONSULTANT AND THE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OFFICE.  INSTITUTIONS THAT WILL OFFER IN-STATE TUITION RATES TO MILITARY PERSONNEL SHOULD BE CONSIDERED. (NOTE:  SEVERAL PROGRAMS REQUIRE ATTENDANCE AT THE INSTITUTION SPECIFIED IN THIS MESSAGE, I.E SYRACUSE, LEDC/FIT, USUHS). ALL INSTITUTIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY DIRECTOR, HEALTH EDUCATION & TRAINING, BE ENROLLED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTING REGISTRAR, AND HAVE AN EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT AGREEMENT (ESA) WITH THE ARMY.

8. ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM IN HEALTH AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION:
     
    A. THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM IN HEALTH AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION INVOLVES A ONE-YEAR DIDACTIC

    B. THE ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE OBLIGATION (ADSO).  THE ADSO FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM IS FOUR YEARS IAW DODI 6000.13 AND WILL COMMENCE UPON COMPLETION OF THE RESIDENCY PHASE.

OFFICERS FROM ALL AOCS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THE JOINT MHA/MBA.  OFFICERS SELECTED FOR THE JOINT MHA/MBA WILL TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 21 ACADEMIC HOURS OVER THE COURSE OF THE DIDACTIC AND RESIDENCY PHASES.  FIVE (5) OF THE ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC HOURS WILL BE TAKEN DURING THE STANDARD DIDACTIC PHASE OF THE PROGRAM.  JOINT MHA/MBA OFFICERS WILL REMAIN AT THE AMEDD CENTER & SCHOOL FOR ONE (1) ADDITIONAL MONTH TO COMPLETE ANOTHER FIVE (5) ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC HOURS BEFORE ROTATING TO THEIR RESIDENCY SITES.  DURING THE RESIDENCY PHASE, JOINT MHA/MBA OFFICERS WILL COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL ELEVEN (11) ACADEMIC HOURS THROUGH DISTANCE LEARNING COURSES ADMINISTERED BY THE ARMY/BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM.  UPON COMPLETION OF THE RESIDENCY PHASE THESE OFFICERS WILL PROCEED TO AN APPROPRIATE UTILIZATION ASSIGNMENT AS LISTED IN PARAGRAPH 10, TABLE C.

    E.  ARMY-BAYLOR MHA/USAMMA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM.  OFFICERS SELECTED UNDER THIS CATEGORY WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 12-MONTH DIDACTIC PHASE AT THE ARMY-BAYLOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATE PROGRAM AND THEN CONDUCT THEIR ONE-YEAR RESIDENCY DIVIDED BETWEEN THE USAMMA INTERNSHIP AND ROTATIONS THROUGH HEALTHCARE FACILITIES.  THE PRECEPTOR FOR THOSE ATTENDING THIS PROGRAM WILL MORE THAN LIKELY BE A SENIOR 70K ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER.  UPON SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE RESIDENCY, THE OFFICER WILL PROCEED TO AN APPROPRIATE UTILIZATION ASSIGNMENT AS LISTED IN PARAGRAPH 10, TABLE C.

9.  MASTER OF SOCIAL WORK:

   A. SOCIAL WORK DEGREES MUST BE OBTAINED FROM PROGRAMS OF SOCIAL WORK THAT ARE ACCREDITED BY THE COUNCIL ON SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION (CSWE), CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOLS OF SOCIAL WORK (CASSW), OR OTHER NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED ACCREDITING AGENCIES. FOLLOWING TWO YEARS OF DIDACTIC TRAINING OFFICER WILL PARTICIPATE IN A TWO YEAR RESIDENCY TO OBTAIN CLINICAL SOCIAL WORK EXPERIENCE AND OBTAIN A LICENSE IN SOCIAL WORK.

   B. THE ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE OBLIGATION (ADSO) FOR THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF THE MASTERS OF SOCIAL WORK PROGRAM IS SIX YEARS IAW DODI 6000.13 AND WILL COMMENCE UPON COMPLETION OF THE RESIDENCY PHASE.
