Tribute to MACV-SOG
A slideshow of soldiers in the clandestine Military Assistance Command Vietnam-Studies Observation Group who "jumped the fence" into Cambodia and Laos to conduct sensitive recon missions. I have heard that there casualty rates where as high as 100% in some instances. Brave men.

A million years ago in a land far, far away.
This was pretty good, but as a MAC-V SOG veteran, I'd like to point out that it was primarily a 5th Special Forces Group mission, with Navy Seals and some USMC Recon in limited roles. There were a couple of non-SOG photos slipped into this presentation, one in particular shows a group of LRRPs from the 101st Airborne, who were not involved in SOG. (Their shoulder patches are the giveaway) Taking nothing away from them, because they also had a tough mission, but they operated within the confines of the 101st Area of Operations in country and did not go into Cambodia, Laos or North Vietnam, as SOG did. Other wise, some pretty good photos.
