GI Bill Rates Increase for 2017

Every year GI Bill rates increase based on the Consumer Price Index as calculated by the government. Based on these calculations, the VA has released the Fiscal Year 2016 GI Bill rates. These rates are effective from October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017.

The Post-9/11 GI Bill housing allowance and foreign & private school maximum tuition reimbursement rates were increased on August 1, 2016 and are effective through July 31, 2017.
