Although commonly referred to as Flight Pay, in actuality there isn't one specific type of special pay called flight pay.  Flight pay is a generic name for special compensation or incentive, paid to those who perform various military flight related duties.  The following is a list of the current types of flight pay available to military servicemembers.

Although Congress determines the actual payment amounts, eligibility and qualifications for these special aviation incentives are determined by each individual service's regulations and policies.  Be sure to contact your local personnel or pay office for any questions or concerns you may have about eligibility or application process'.
