Getting the best job: for many people, this is the most exciting and the most frustrating part of joining the military. There are plenty of jobs to choose from, but which one should you choose? First, you need to succeed on the ASVAB (link). After that, you should:

  • Find out which job areas you would work well in
  • Go through the jobs in your field
  • Ask questions
  • Make several choices - at least three different jobs - and talk about them with your recruiter.
