Did you know that Bay Area residents have been supporting and saluting or serving men and women at Fleet Week since 1981! The Fleet Week Committee, an all-volunteer non-profit group has to raise over $500,000 each year to pay for the expenses of putting on the event. Expenses from hotels, rental cars for performers, specialized equipment, sanitation and recycling services just keep going up. That is why this year Fleet Week and the W Foundation are reaching out to YOU, supporters of Fleet Week, to help keep Fleet Week afloat.
