NATO Bombs Libyan Ammo Facility

    Canadian Forces Combat Camera - Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR Libya: On May 29th, a NATO aircraft dropped bombs on an ammunition storage facility in order to decrease the ability of the regime to conduct attacks again civilians. Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR is a NATO-led effort to impose on Libya the arms embargo and no-fly zone authorized in U.N. Security Council Resolution 1973 of 17 March 200, which called on the international community to protect civilians and civilian-populated areas in Libya.
