My very last convoy run was going from Bazemaya up to Balad Iraq, 1:30 in the morning, pitch black. Out of nowhere 4 apaches flew by our convoy, two on each side, flying about 6 to 10 stories high, they dropped flares to let us know they were close by. Apaches are some bad ass choppers.
Years ago I had the privilege of inspecting various components for AH-64 aircraft. I am thankful that they are being used to the utmost of their levels and very affectively I might add.
