It might have been the only munition on station, or they might have wanted to make sure they got the IED as well. Some of those are pretty big.
Now that's what I'm talking about....

so this is from my last deployment that one of the guys put up, there was any taliban there they were to the left of the explosion hiding in the mountain, and they told us 2000 im gunna guess its a 500. and we used it as a "show of force" i dont know ask the ODA we were with.

What did more damage? The 2,000 lb bomb we dropped on them or the 2 trillion dollar bomb they dropped on us?
Al Queerda used fully fuel loaded 757's & 767's on 9/11. Average weight of a fully loaded 767/200 350,000 lbs. Good work troops kill more of them. We didn't attack them on 9/11 they attacked us.
