Air Force Drone Crashes, Shuts Down Highway

    A United States $2.6m military drone crashed near a Florida highway on Wednesday morning, then went up in flames and reportedly started a ground fire. Highway 98 in the Florida Panhandle highway was closed west of Panama City and east of Mexico Beach after the QF-4 drone, belonging to the nearby Tyndall Air Force Base, crashed during takeoff around 8:20 a.m. No one was injured. The stretch of highway could remain closed for up to 24 hours, authorities said.
