    This ship is now under fire from command because they feel it does not have what it takes to be a hard core battle ship. It never was intended to be as far as what I have read about it's original plans.Since it's onset The Navy plans to build 52 LCS ships, but the $500 billion in Pentagon spending cuts under sequestration will likely force the service to rethink that plan. here is a link to more info.http://www.military.com/daily-news/2013/04/05/navy-set-to-reevaluate-lcs-programs-future.html?ESRC=eb.nl
