I am surprised it looks so warm. Korea is known for their Very Cold Winters. During the WAR It was reported that the winters would get as cold as 40 Below in some areas. Our men endured frostbite to the degree of losing feet, hands and worse. Now many South Korea is warmer? It's possible that when the fighting was going on most of it took place in the mountainous regions so maybe that's one of the reasons. During WWII we all have seen movies when our men were stuck in France during the winter and it was very Very cold. Bastone is where the 101st and 82nd airborne got locked down with no supply line and the planes couldn't get through the weather due to fog. I'm sure we have all seen the movie BATTLE GROUND. A pretty good movie telling the story in a well documented way. NUTS!
