Recruits of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, endure the effects of tear gas after exiting a gas chamber June 16, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C. Marine Corps recruits learn basic chemical warfare defense to ensure they are confident in their abilities to use a gas mask while enduring the effects of a nonlethal tear gas. Lima Company is scheduled to graduate Sept. 6, 2013.

    Must have lighten up on the Gas. In 1968 if snot was not hanging 2 feet out your nose when you came out you got to go back in. "Semper Fidelis"
