CSU College of Veterinary Medicine -- Bomb-sniffing dog Kay saved thousands of human lives as he hunted down IEDs while deployed with the U.S. Army in Iraq and Afghanistan. His military handler adopted Kay and took him home to Brighton, Colo., hoping to reward the war dog with a relaxed life. Then Kay has diagnosed with an inoperable heart tumor.
