Female Soldier Beaten by Combat Engineer

A female soldier was beaten unconscious by two members of her unit after they spotted her kissing another man at a party. Private Melissa Centeno, 18, says she thought she was going to die when she was pinned up against the wall by her neck, strangled and hit repeatedly during a house party held by a fellow Fort Hood, Texas, officer on Saturday. She suffered concussion, a ruptured eardrum, wounds to the face, and fell unconscious. The case is slated to be taken to the Pentagon as Army directors vow to persecute the suspects.
