Girls Dance, 747 Does Aileron Roll

Clean Rating: Safe for work.

So this totally happened. Some girls putting on a dance routine are buzzed by a Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747 conducting an unexpected aileron roll. There is no way this is fake. Sorry just can't be.

I want that Crew on my plane.....if it were REAL!

At that altitude there would have been tiny little 747 part all over that approach area. To say nothing about what the FAA would do.

No, there's no way that this ISN'T FAKE. Nice try, ...Nice Bus station skanks too!

As fake as the boobs I bought my ex wife...."bus station skanks:...that's rich!! "this so totally happened..." Literary genius!

I saw a B-52 do a similar [half] roll at that altitude and the largest remaining pieces were some wheel bogies . . . .just sayin!

    Like WoW!

So badly CGed it isn't funny. Control surfaces are not in the postion to sustain a roll. Way to low gear is down nope sorry faked as hell.

I think you're right. FAKE ... those pilots would be fired. Let alone the damage to the cargo in the plane...and passengers lawsuits lol

It's a fake. Nobody in their right mind would attempt an aileron roll at such a low altitude and speed, in a 747 and seconds before touchdown.

    antihypocrite Jan 31, 2014

Sorry. Fake. Cool, but fake. He'd have lost too much altitude with that maneuver and come down right on op of those gils and the sound pressure levels would have really messed them up.

cpauld, that BUFF was higher than this.

  18. cpauld
    cpauld Jan 31, 2014

True, and my point is the BUFF still only made a half role before he bought it!

Totally fake, a 747 at that altitude and speed with the gear out wouldn't make it close to halfway before hitting the deck. Gear up, higher speed, in a climb to compensate for all the altitude lost in the maneuver...sure.

It isn't just fake, it's a BAD fake!

That is nothing like a dance. Also, The 707 is the only known passenger jet to demonstrate a roll and no pilot would attempt anything like that at such a low altitude. I'm a retired controller and pilot.

No way this is fake is the most naïve statement in re aircraft weight, altitude, speed and all the other etc's there are.

Sorry dudes, not possible. Approach speed is too slow and landing configuration is too drag inherent to execute this. This just happens to be an empty AC doing a test flight? Doing an aileron roll on final....nope. Another doctored up video.

To be aw aileron roll the ailerons have to move. WARNING - No flight control surfaces were used in the making of this fake video

Even the legendary Bob Hoover wouldn't/couldn't pull that stunt off. Not to mention all of the previously stated technical flying errors in the clip. Bogus!

Perhaps not fake, but insane! Hot dogging is ne thing, but have some AIR under your wings when you do it!

I have been a pilot on the 747 for 18+ years and can tell you this is absolutely impossible. Poster 31950351 is absolutely correct! A pilots best friend is altitude and fuel (unless you are on fire) Sorry to let all you wishful thinkers down...:(

There was no pitch up prior to the roll, the speed for landing is much to slow. although in theory any aircraft can roll, with the low altitude and speed here, the dancers at least the one wearing the cross on her shirt would be seeing Jesus. Another problem with this, the jet wash from the engines would have produced enough force to put those dancers into rolls (rolling along the ground)themselves.

not a single one of you has ever flown a plane before this is 100 percent legit video you cant fake a giant airplane sounds and all you can see it in the distance people are so oblivious and stupid. i have flown many aircraft in my life stop talking about things you know nothing about kids.

I think this is the report & proof you are looking for: It's not fake. Actually happened. :)

  38. 32892286
32892286 Sep 22, 2014 refers to an Australian incident at Perth airport. 1 - it was not a full roll reported, only 8 degrees of roll in either direction. 2 - In Australia cars drive on the left hand side of the road and the steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car. The opposite is shown in this video. 4 - Aircraft registration on this report is VH-EBS which belongs to Qantas, not Virgin. So no this is not the report of the plane in this video

Interesting that there are windows on one side of the plane and not the other. Among other discrepancies.
