U.S. military personnel are showcasing their airpower at the 2013 Dubai Air Show. It’s one of the largest in the world and attracts attendees from nearly fifty different countries. Lt Malesra soundbite : “My favorite part so far has been interacting with people from all walks of life, from all over the world and just seeing their shear enthusiasm for what we do and the jets that we have and some of them coming from all over the world uh to really see uh some of these jets that they’ve basically admired for a while now.” U.S. participation strengthens our military-to-military relationships and increases interoperability with the U.A.E., as well as allies and partners in the region. Lt Malesra soundbite: “we’ve been working at the Dubai airshow since 2007 and we feel it’s pretty important to, uh, keep a positive relationship with our host nations in the region and so by being here it definitely promotes that good partnership.” The commitment of partnership remains a DoD priority and keeps our airpower strong! Reporting from Dubai, United Arab Emirates I’m Technical Sergeant Colleen Urban. Soundbites include 1Lt Bobby Malesra - F-15E Weapons System Operator. Produced by TSgt Colleen Urban.
