Il-76 Low Level Flight Over City Causes Panic

Residents of Orenburg were not warned that the military would fly the plane so dangerously low. Apparently it was a surprise. Military transport aircraft IL-76 flew four circles over the city. Later it became known that the airplane was participating in a parade devoted to the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan. “I’m sure that the idea of low flying was good, beautiful and most importantly, safe.
