I am a strong advocate of our Military capabilities. As a Navy Veteran Air Traffic Controller, I understand that showing capabilities may give other countries realization to rethink dangerous ideas. Yes it is an expense to Military operations in real costs, I wonder and hope the cost will show effective in deterrent to prevent reckless or ridiculous acts of aggressors with ill intentions. Forward deployment of assets may be cost effective, but those decisions are way above my pay grade. Thank you, J. Mark Olsen, USN-Ret.
