Representatives from The American Legion will be on hand for the DC Metro Small Business Resource Event in Washington, D.C., on Oct. 19. The event will be held from 10 a.m. To 1 p.m. Oct. 19 at 607 14th St. NW, Washington, D.C. Veterans who own or plan to start their own small business in the DC Metro area are encouraged to attend the event. Topics to be addressed include legal/compliance requirements, finance and accounting requirements, staffing and recruiting best practices, marketing strategies and more.
