Memorial Day Parade March

Hosted by the American Veterans Center, the 2023 National Memorial Day Parade returns Monday, May 29, 2023, along Constitution Avenue in Washington, D.C.

The parade will kick off at 2 p.m. Eastern time. Beforehand, starting at 1 p.m., the opening ceremonies will include musical performances by Colbie Caillat, Andy Grammer, Craig Morgan and more.

Actors and veteran supporters Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinise, and celebrity chef and veteran Robert Irvine, will join the parade in person.

The grand marshals are "The Legends of Apollo," featuring astronauts from the first missions to the moon more than 50 years ago.

The parade, a moving timeline of American history, commemorates the spirit of service and sacrifice over our nearly 250 years. The event will feature historical reenactors, active-duty military personnel, marching bands, musical performers and veterans from World War II to the present.

The parade livestream may be viewed on YouTube here. It is also embedded below.
