Schools usually have free information packets they will mail you with answers to the questions listed above, more on tuition costs, and an application.

The Department of Education's College Scorecard has detailed information about schools including ACT/SAT scores, popular degrees, and student body makeup.

The VA's GI Bill Comparison Tool shows information about schools including estimated GI BIll benefits, number of veterans attending, and veteran support services available on campus.
