Global War on Terror

It's called "Conduct Unbecoming an Officer and a Gentleman." It’s Article 133 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and punishable as a court-martial may direct.

Court-martial could fine such offenses as Bill Clinton’s irresponsible behavior, with penalties including a bad conduct discharge, fine and imprisonment.

Bill Clinton was the Commander-in-Chief of the United States Armed Forces. He even went so far to ask for exemption for going to civilian court under the Armed Forces exemption of not having to appear in civil court unless approved by the military courts.

If the charge of sexual misconduct of a junior officer had been directed to anyone in the US military, any officer above the rank of major and enlisted men above the rank of staff sergeant would have been court-martialed.

Clinton has never understood that, and talk show hosts are missing the point. It was, and still is, conduct unbecoming a President and Commander in Chief.

To hear that Clinton’s sexual misconduct is between him and his wife, while acting as the President, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces -- to hold in the highest position of responsibility, trust and honor in America -- is incomprehensible.

This was the highest ranking man in the military chain of command, and as such he was supposed to set the example for all members of the Armed Forces in America. Mothers and fathers sent their sons and daughters to the White House intern program with some expectation of positive behavior on the part of the seniors who were responsible for their supervision and training.

To commit perjury, lie, cheat and steal (he stole the virtue of a young, impressionable girl), to be so irresponsible and still say it is not a matter for public scrutiny, is the height of egotism, and total disdain for all that most American military men or women hold sacred.

What was the "vast right wing conspiracy" that was out to get Clinton? Today, with more lies, obfuscation and distortions, he continues to hoodwink America. He is still in denial. He still thinks he did nothing wrong. But what makes it worse, is that the American news media and talk shows see no wrong.

The man and the sympatric talk show host hawking his book should be asked what they think of the senior Air Force Academy cadets seducing junior cadets. Clinton was impeached, which he cleverly omits in all talk shows, but the Democrats in the Senate let his "high crimes and misdemeanors" go unpunished.

Bill Clinton still blames everyone but himself for the problems he had lying on TV to the public then, lying under oath about his sex life, and he is lying now.

"Listen to me. I will say this one more time. I never had sex with that woman - Ms Lewenski."

Does anyone in their right mind believe that Monica was the only woman Clinton had sex with in his eight years in the White House? Monica Lewenski is a very attractive woman and would attract many men. But, Bill’s account that he did it "because he could" is as lame an excuse as was ever heard. Clinton seduced an intern. He seduced a young, inexperienced woman at a very impressionable time in her life. Then, there was Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, and many others.

Today we have the great sex, lies and politics stories about a Senate candidate named Jack Ryan who is now running for public office in Illinois and was married to the hottest dish on TV. Wasn’t there a Jack Ryan who was a character in Tom Clancy’s books who never had sex even with his wife?

Remember "7 of 9" in the Star Trek: Voyager series? I though she was molded into that space suit, but when she is seen in public, on TV news, WOW.

I would not vote for this guy just for divorcing one of the best looking women in Hollywood. Alas, his ex-wife, actress Jeri Lynn, says that "Jack is a good man, a loving father and he shares a strong bond with our son." She added that he would make "an excellent senator."

Okay. If 7 of 9 said it’s okay, maybe I’ll vote for him. Does anyone know Jeri’s telephone number?
