Su-34s and Su-25s Fire at Ground Targets During Aviadarts 2019

    Su-34 and Su-25 crews fire at ground targets during the qualifying stage of the 2019 Aviadarts competition.

    The Aviadarts 2019 qualifying round has kicked off at the airfields of the Eastern Military District in Buryatia, Transbaikalia, Primorye, Khabarovsk Territory and Kamchatka, as part of preparations for the International Army Games 2019.

    The competition involves 78 pilots of formations and military units of army, fighter and bomber aircraft of the Eastern MD making up 42 teams.

    The competition comprises 13 airfields and more than 130 aircraft of 15 types, including Su-30SM, Su-35S fighters, Su-24M and Su-34 bombers, Su-25 attack aircraft of various modifications, Mi-8, Mi-24, Mi-28N and Ka-52 helicopters and others.

    The winners of the 2nd stage of the competition will take part in the all-Russian competition Aviadarts 2019, which will be held from May 20 to June 14, 2019 in the Crimea.
