German Paratroopers Get Tangled

    Two paratroopers from the 25th Air Assault Battalion from Klagenfurt who were injured in Zeltweg parachute accident are in stable condition. They are being given the best medical treatment possible. The evacuation chain was working as scheduled: Already two minutes after the accident, the first emergency physician had reached the injured soldiers who were evacuated to regional hospitals by austrian military Alouette III helicopters within 23 minutes. The soldiers, aged 33 and 39, suffered fractures in the pelvis region, the shoulder and the ankle. Their condition is not life-threatening.
