Right or Wrong? Cage Fighting for Kids

THE social club which staged a child cage fight is in danger of losing its licence over the scandal. Horrified town hall bosses have launched a review of the venue and ordered the owners not to host any other such events. Their move came following the outrage at film footage showing two young boys being goaded by adults to batter each other in a mixed martial arts brawl. Disgusted parents and campaigners have called for the club to be closed down. Disturbing film footage showed Lucas Deelay, eight, and Kian Hartley, nine, fighting in the 10-minute bout with no padding, headguards or protection. A scantily-clad model paraded around the ring as the lads wait to fight at Greenlands Labour Club in Preston, Lancs. At one point, one of the youngsters is hurt and starts crying.
