Coast Guard Assists Mt. Jefferson Rescue Effort

    A Coast Guard MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew captures footage of Corvallis Mountain Rescue Unit members as they approach a crevasse on Mt. Jefferson in Oregon, where two hikers were reported to be trapped Monday, Nov. 30, 2015. Over the course of more than 14 hours, two Coast Guard aircrews facilitated the pickup and delivery of 15 mountain rescuers to a location near the crevasse, where they were better able to reach the stranded couple.
