The Pakistani Taliban say they'll use suicide bombers and snipers to kill former President Pervez Musharraf when he returns to Pakistan. In a video released on Saturday, a member of the Taliban who's alleged to have taken part in a previous assassination attempt on Musharraf, said a special squad has been prepared to kill the former president. The video claims the squad consists of suicide bombers, a sniper team, a special assault team and close combat forces. The video then shows the assassination squad training in combat uniform. The authenticity of the video has not been verified. Musharraf angered the Taliban and other Islamist groups by supporting the US war on terror, following the September 11th attacks in 2001. He later launched a major crackdown on militants in Pakistan. Musharraf is due to return to Pakistan on Sunday, after 6 years living in exile in London and Dubai. He's planning to take part in the coming parliamentary elections on May 11th.
