Retired U.S. Marine Corps 1st Sgt. James Freeman and his family celebrate his birthday in Hubert, North Carolina on May 16, 2020. The Carolina Museum of the Marine created the parade to commemorate Freeman’s 97th birthday and honor his legacy and service in World War II, the Vietnam War and the Korean War.
