    A United States Air Force Convair B-58 "Hustler" encounters serious problems during takeoff when a tire explodes and causes damage to the fuel tank. Although the crew have only had limited experience flying this plane they manage to keep her airborne, refuel multiple times at night and make a safe touchdown on damaged landing gear. (1961)
