HMS Dragon Fires Her 4.5 Inch Gun

HMS Dragon relocated from the Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea and on 4 Sep 13 took the opportunity whilst on passage to the Red sea to ensure that her Command and Control team, as well as he ordnance systems, were in full working order. HMS Dragon confirmed the area was clear, both on the surface and in the skies, with her powerful sensor suite and expended 8 rounds of 4.5 practice ammunition. The 4.5 Mark 8 Mod 1 can project a shell over 20 000 yards and support all aspects of Naval Gunfire Support.
