Kurdish Peshmerga Firefight Against ISIS

Kurdish Peshmerga fighters have come under fire while trying to retake an Iraqi village from Islamic State extremists. The sporadic clashes have delayed the evacuation of the final Yazidis who are still trapped in the mountain area nearby. Peshmerga fighters recently managed to open a corridor following a massive two-day military operation as part of incremental efforts to repel Islamic State.
