Marine Recruits Do Gas Chamber


Recruits of Lima Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, endure the effects of tear gas after exiting a gas chamber June 16, 2013, on Parris Island, S.C. Marine Corps recruits learn basic chemical warfare defense to ensure they are confident in their abilities to use a gas mask while enduring the effects of a nonlethal tear gas.
