Soldier Honored for Saving Boy's Life

CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- An Oregon Army National Guard soldier was reunited Friday with a 12-year-old boy he helped save after a car accident near Wilsonville along Interstate 5. Sgt. 1st Class James Goleman, a member of the Oregon National Guard's Joint Forces Headquarters, received the Oregon Exceptional Service Medal with Gold Star for his life-saving actions. The award was presented Friday afternoon at Camp Withycombe in Clackamas.
