Breitling Wingwalkers Over a Desert

Share

The Breitling Wingwalking team leave the green fields of Europe and travel east for the winter to experience the contrast and freedom of flying over the desert of the Middle East. British Wingwalkers Danielle Hughes and Freya Patterson climbed out onto the top wing of the 1930's Stearman aircraft and performed their awe-inspiring sequence of gymnastic moves over the daunting desert environment. Enduring speeds of over 260 km/h and forces up to 4 times their own body weight, the girls displayed their graceful and elegant poses while looping and rolling just above the golden sand dunes.
