Blue Mountains Bicentenary Flyover

Share

On Saturday the 25th of May, 2013 a RAAF C-130J Hercules and the renowned RAAF Roulettes aerobatic team joined approximately 70 private aircraft as they took to the skies over the west of Sydney to commemorate the first crossing of the Blue Mountains in 1813. Descendants of Blaxland, Lawson and Wentworth, the first explorers to make the crossing, along with a number of private aircraft, congregated at RAAF Base Richmond before departing on a spectacular tribute to the three explorers.Photos at http://ra.af/12gHh82 About the Roulettes http://ra.af/Roulettes
