If you're watching football this fall, you've realized that USAA has expanded its Salute to Service program that encourages military appreciation around the USA, including a spot that features former Army Ranger and current Pittsburgh Steeler Alejandro Villanueva.

We'll be looking at the program in detail next week with USAA AVP of Marketing Don Clark, an Air Force veteran who played football for the Falcons when he was at the USAF Academy.

As a warmup, we've got a Thanksgiving video from USAA and the NFL. Each year, thousands of American families host service members at their Thanksgiving tables and the league and USAA wanted to recognize those families and promote the idea to the millions of Americans watching the games this Thursday. Denver Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware organized a surprise home-cooked early Thanksgiving meal for military members based at Fort Carson (CO) in honor of their service and USAA sent a crew to film the event.

Check out the video below and enjoy time with family and friends over the holiday. Happy Thanksgiving!
