Military Appreciation Month Campaign Raises $125K for Fisher House

Here's a followup on Wargaming America's Military Appreciation Month campaign that we wrote about in May. The company presented a check for $125,000 t0 the Fisher House Foundation after players complete donation-based mission objectives within its games World of Tanks, World of Warships, World of Tanks on Console, and World of Tanks Blitz.

After players raised $100,000 from donation-based missions, the company was inspired to kick in another $25,000 to bring the total donation to $125K.

The Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. Since their inception in 1990, more than 277,000 families have been provided 6.5 million nights of lodging saving an estimated $320 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.
