Vote Now for the 2017 Military Spouse of the Year

We've been telling you about the annual Military Spouse of the Year process. First you got to nominate friends or family, then you voted for the winners for each base, and finally you voted for the winners for each branch.

The branch winners were announced Feb. 24, and they are a collection of awesome candidates. You can read all about them here. Each of them represents their service well and has done really marvelous things for their communities.

But only one of them will win the actual Military Spouse of the Year title. And you have a say in who that is. Today only, March 2, you can weigh-in on who will be the Military Spouse of the Year for 2017.

The MSOY winner has an opportunity to have a national platform to represent military spouse issues. She (the candidates this year are all female) gets to speak to power on what issues are important to spouses and use the title to get things that are important to the spouse community to forefront.

Military.com is proud to be a media sponsor of the Military Spouse of the Year awards for the third year running and here's why: this stuff matters. Giving a deserving spouse the chance to stand up and help other military spouses is important.

And you can be a part of choosing who gets to do that -- but only if you go vote now! Your votes will be considered by a panel of judges who will ultimately choose the winner. That person will be announced at a very nice luncheon in Northern Virginia the Friday before Mothers Day in May (and of course I'll be there to tell you all about it).

Now, VOTE!
