Poll: What Military Life Issue Worries You the Most?

Our readers are always telling us about the parts of military life that worry them most. They care about the commissary. They worry about how deployment has affected their children and their marriages. The whole spouse employment thing irritates them beyond belief.

But when Congress sits down to discuss the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act early next year, their plans are pretty vague when it comes to military families.

There are discussion points about special operations families, Gold Star families, and families who are in dire circumstances due to having a servicemember prosecuted by the UCMJ. But what about the rest of us?

After a year in which so many of our basic benefits have been threatened and we have been told “everything” is on the cutting table, we are thinking about you.
