I love those families in which everyone seems to enter adulthood by joining the military. Strange but true: Both grandpas served in the Marines and still wear a high-and-tight to prove it. Great Aunt Jill was an Army nurse in Korea. Dad and Mom met at boot camp. All nine cousins followed their uncle into the National Guard. Two sisters are Marine helicopter pilots. Cousin Alex joined an aircraft carrier. Running into those uber military families makes me wonder what their all-cammie laundry looks like and whether anyone is ever home for Christmas?
Here is my chance to find out. Doron Ofir Casting & A Major Television Network is searching for the nation’s most entertaining, MULTI-GENERATIONAL and/or EXTENDED MULTI-CULTURAL families for a show called My Modern Family. They aren't just looking for parents and children. They want grandma, grandpa, aunts, and uncles. Why shouldn't that show be all about one of these military clans? Or at least feature a few military characters? The producers note:
