Let Your Voice be Heard!

Share

We have an amazing chance to make our voices heard this month through the annual Blue Star Families military family lifestyle survey.

The results of this survey last year were  presented to lawmakers, used by the White House and widely cited in the media as a good representation of what military spouses and families think and need.

This year the organization is hoping to include even more participants and get even more feedback on how we feel about military life, including employment, education, deployments and support for spouses and military children -- the important stuff.

The only way to make that happen is for you to help. I did the survey this morning and it took me about 20 minutes. While that’s a bit of a time commitment let’s be honest, I probably would’ve blown that time on Facebook anyway. Why not instead spend it making sure decision makers in Congress and the White House know what I think about DoD programs, services and our military lifestyle?

The survey will be open until the end of November. Results will be released next spring.

Remember: if we don’t make an effort to tell people what we think we have no right to complain when things go in a direction we don’t like.

Go here to take the survey!
