Feds Feed Families and So Can You

Share

The “Feds Feed Families” food drive is part of a presidential initiative to help food banks across the nation restock their shelves.  The goal is to gather from federal employees 2 million lbs of donated nonperishable food items before August 31.

Military families are being called upon to help, too. The commissary system has made it easy to donate by setting up drop-off points at their stores around the US. Donated food from those locations could end up at the on post chapel or out in the civilian community at local food banks.

For ways that you can help or ideas for what you can donate checkout this link from the Feds Feed Families website.

You can also check out this video for more information about the program.
