Tricia Hall was 4-years-old when her father, Army Lt. Kelly Hall, was killed in a training accident in Germany. Since then her mother has encouraged Tricia and her four brothers and sisters to creatively remember their father through art, writing and song.
Tricia, now 16-years-old, recently shared her experience as a Gold Star kid on a panel at the Military Blogger’s Conference. After the panel she shared a song dedicated to her father, which she wrote and composed when she was about 10-years-old. You might want to grab a tissue before watching this one.
