I just have to quickly say that I thought I knew what I was talking about years ago when I wrote that one is the loneliest number. I thought I knew that temporarily-single moms had it harder than I did.
I had no idea.
I have done one week of my husband being TDY while I take care of our 14 month old, and my hat is off to all you moms who've single parented year after year of deployments.
Your job has been HARD. You amaze me.
