Blech! I am the worst Fit Clubber in the history of SpouseBUZZ. And I feel like every Fit Club post is a catalog of my failures and my "new" plans.
This week will be no different.
Here's this week's scheme: walking with a pedometer. I bought a pedometer at the Navy Exchange yesterday. I've owned them before but they were always super-cheap (as in, free with my salad at McDonalds) and didn't work well. This one wasn't too expensive ($16.00) but it should work a little better.
Apparently, you are supposed to try to walk 10,000 steps every day. That is about 5 miles. In my short experiment so far, I've discovered that I'm not walking nearly as much as I thought I was. I think yesterday's total was something like 1,000 steps (but I didn't start until early afternoon.)
Have any of you ever used a pedometer? How did that go for you? Were you able to sustain it? Please, tell!
